Niko Baader joined Bank Julius Baer in 2015.

Before joining Bank Julius Baer he worked for six years at UBS within the Asset Management division, among the others, in the functions of Portfolio Manager and Analyst.

Niko Baader has 17 years of banking experience of which 8 in sustainable investments. He holds an Master of Arts in Banking and Finance from University of St. Gallen (HSG) as well as an Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Università della Svizzera Italiana. Moreover, in 2020, he was awarded the Certificate in ESG Investing by CFA Institute.

Sahil Gandhi is an Investment Director at BII, the UK government’s development finance institution. He leads BII’s investments in financial services equity funds and co-investments. Prior to joining BII in May 2016, he held several impact investment roles in India at the Grassroots Business Fund, Clinton Foundation and Dasra.

Holly Turner is the climate specialist across Schroders Capital, the private assets investment division of Schroders. Within this role she is responsible for enabling and overseeing climate integration within each private assets business across the platform, along with developing the overall approach at the Schroders Capital level.  As part of Holly’s role, she supports the development and delivery of specific products that have an alignment or investment intent towards climate-related themes, focusing on future commitments, implementation, and reporting.

Pietro Visetti leads the Sustainability & Impact practice at Kieger AG, applying systems thinking to direct capital into high-impact opportunities across listed and private markets. Educated in environmental economics at Wageningen University and ETH Zurich, he previously worked at the European Central Bank, UNEP, NGOs and consulting firms.

Michael is the Chief Executive Officer at BlueOrchard. In this capacity, he leads the firm’s strategic direction and execution of its mission to drive sustainable investment solutions. He leads the executive and extended management teams and has overall executive responsibility for the firm’s client and business operations. In his prior role, he was the Head Investment Solutions & Private Equity, overseeing the portfolio management and asset allocation of BlueOrchard’s funds and mandates as well as the development of product solutions. He chaired several investment committees in private debt and private equity. He has over 20 years of in-depth knowledge and extensive experience in public and private markets investment management and design and development of product and investment solutions. Prior to joining BlueOrchard, Michael held several management positions at Partners Group in Switzerland and the UK.

Michael is a CFA Charterholder and holds a Master in Banking & Finance from the University of Zurich.

Maria Teresa is responsible for the Public Private Partnership (PPP) funds under BlueOrchard’s management and impact practice. Maria Teresa joined BlueOrchard in 2008 as Chief Investment Officer. Previously Maria Teresa worked as Senior Banker in the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development financial institution team both in London and Central Asia. Prior to that she worked for the Asian Development Bank in Manila and was an ODI Fellow in Africa.

Maria Teresa holds a M.Phil degree in Development Studies from the Institute of Development Studies at Sussex University and a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Florence.

Alessandra is responsible for the fund management of BlueOrchard’s blended finance mandates and relationships with development finance institutions. In her role, she is involved in the creation of new blended finance structured investment strategies and technical assistance facilities, from design to implementation. Alessandra has ten years of experience in advisory and impact investing in emerging and frontier markets with previous roles at Innpact and Accenture.

Alessandra holds a Master of Science in Management from Bocconi University and a bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Organizations from University of Ferrara.

Ana Gavtadze began her role as a Portfolio Manager at BlueOrchard Finance in Switzerland in 2022, where she has been jointly managing listed debt funds in emerging markets with impact focus. Her responsibilities include portfolio construction, conducting credit research, evaluating bond issuers and issuances, and managing risk to optimize portfolio performance. Before her current position, she held several roles focused on finance, including roles in budget planning, financial reporting, and internal controls both at BlueOrchard and beyond. Ana holds a Master’s degree in Financial Management from Vlerick Business School in Belgium.

Anne joined BlueOrchard in 2022. In her role as Associate Impact Manager, she is responsible for ESG and impact management for both private and listed debt funds, with a particular focus on financial inclusion, climate finance, and education finance. Anne is also leading the development of ESG and impact tools for private assets. Before joining BlueOrchard, Anne worked with the United Nations in New York and Geneva, where she contributed to a humanitarian pooled financing mechanism and oversaw evaluations of humanitarian responses. Anne holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Groningen and an M.A. in Development Studies from the Geneva Graduate Institute.

Victoria is a member of BlueOrchard’s business development team and is based in Zurich, Switzerland.

She has gained over six years of experience in the financial industry, having worked at institutions such as Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse, and is a certified investment manager by the CFA UK.
