- Stanislav, what new skill or knowledge have you gained since joining BlueOrchard?
Before starting at BlueOrchard in 2022, the last time I moved to a new country was around 21 years ago. Having moved to Tbilisi, I regained and reinforced the ability to adapt to a new environment, people, and culture around me, and to value personal relationships. - What does “impact” mean to you on a personal level?
People and personal stories motivate me most. It is always inspiring to see an “average Joe” with a similar or even less favourable starting position achieve something extraordinary, create something valuable or beneficial for others, or simply do something meaningful. This is also one of the reasons I love my job: seeing people, regardless of their starting point, continue moving forward and create better opportunities for their families.
- What motivates you – professionally and personally?
There is one thing that absolutely all people on this planet have in common: every human being wants to be happy. Impact, for me, is exactly about getting one step closer to that — making people happier. Each person has their own definition of “happy”, be it peace, stability, health, a happy child’s face, or something else. If we manage to make somebody happier, we have already achieved a positive impact.
- If you could describe your experience at BlueOrchard in three words, what would they be?
Efficiency, pioneering (spirit), camaraderie.
