The #BOFaces series introduced you to the people making up BlueOrchard’s dedicated team, spread out across our international offices. This week, we had the pleasure of speaking with Sevara Mukhamet-Alieva, our Eurosasia Regional Director in Private Debt based in the Tbilisi office. We took this opportunity to get to know a bit more about Sevara, her hobbies, and motivations for joining BlueOrchard.

Sevara, why did you join BlueOrchard?

I wanted to switch my gears a bit and move from the advisory and development to more commercially oriented environment with opportunity to travel and to discover new cultures.

What is the first thing you do when you start your day?

Walking out my dog in the early morning when most people in Tbilisi are still sleeping and enjoying calmness and fresh morning air.

What do you like most at BlueOrchard?

BlueOrchard gives me the unique combination of professional development, a dynamic environment that challenges my brain and personal satisfaction from interaction with people I respect and on whose support can always count.

What is the best advice you have ever been given?

Sometimes it is better to leave the situation develop by its own instead of trying to control it or react based on the first impression.

What is your favourite movie? Why?

Depending on the mood I like watching different movies, but probably can name “Forest Gump” as my favourite as it teaches us to stay kind and sincere in all times.

Thank you, Sevara!
