Pranav, what do you enjoy most about working at BO?
My interactions with my co-workers – both formal and informal – are the most enjoyable part of working at BlueOrchard. Apart from being a group of very smart and high caliber people, BlueOrchard employees are also the nicest to interact with. Even in times of the Covid-19 pandemic I felt the strong engagement and the kindness of each of my colleagues.
How do you make an impact in your private life?
I used to volunteer for multiple NGOs. Admittedly, that’s been less frequent over the last 3 years. Apart from being more accepting of people who put pineapple on their pizzas, I believe kindness is underrated. I have learnt that smiling, like yawns, can be contagious, and being nice to people is always satisfying.
What is the biggest global challenge in your view?
The inability of people to see each other as people, viewing each human being as being an equal human life, regardless of nationality, race, gender, religion, sexual preference, etc. The world would be a better place if we were to achieve this.
