What do you like most about working in the impact investing industry?
Impact investing plays a crucial role in gradually reversing and mitigating the long-standing environmental damage and addressing social and financial exclusion. The concept of ‘profit with purpose’ is compelling and catching up. When we excel in our endeavors, it becomes a win-win situation for all parties involved since our success allows us to expand and achieve even greater positive outcomes. The prospect of making a significant impact on a large scale is what makes working in this industry truly exciting for me.
What do you enjoy most about working at BlueOrchard?
The innovative spirit of the company to create social and environmental impact is contagious. I really enjoy the learnings from the experiences and perspectives of such a global and diverse team.
What is the biggest global challenge in your view?
The biggest global challenge in my view is climate change. The climate-related impacts are expected to intensify over the years. The climate related dangers are both local and global as well as ubiquitous. Governments are not fully prepared to address these challenges and the already vulnerable communities are at the forefront of these impending consequences.
