Patrick Elmer, currently Head of Philanthropy Services and Responsible Investment Switzerland at Credit Suisse, enjoys a great reputation throughout the industry. His experience and expertise include leading the strategic development of the competence center for “Responsible Investment & Philanthropy Services” advising clients on investment solutions that combine financial and social returns and heading the bank’s efforts in Microfinance & Impact Investment. In this function he developed innovative partnerships and financing solutions to deploy public and private capital in areas like microfinance, education, agriculture and conservation finance. He has gained significant field expertise while managing the private sector development portfolio of SECO (State Secretariat for Economic Affairs) in Mozambique and co-leading the establishment and management of a start-up microfinance bank in Madagascar.
Patrick will lead BlueOrchard’s business development team, responsible for driving the overall business strategy, sales and marketing. In his role, he will ensure together with a strong team the delivery of outstanding customized investment solutions to our clients benefit. He will be based in Zurich, Switzerland.
