Our upcoming BlueOrchard investor field trip will take place in India from the 22nd to the 25th of September, 2025.

Home to over 1.4 billion people, India is one of the most populous nations, featuring diverse landscapes from the Himalayas to the southern coast. As one of the world’s fastest-growing economies, India has made significant strides in reducing extreme poverty over the past two decades, although challenges and inequalities persist.

BlueOrchard has been active in the region since 2001 and our Singapore office covers the entire Indian portfolio. To date, BlueOrchard has deployed approximately USD 1.6bn across more than 310 loans in the area, thus providing access to financial and related services to millions of micro-entrepreneurs as well as micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

During this trip, our investors will have the unique opportunity to engage in meetings with the financial regulator, insightful sessions with the management of key partner institutions, and intimate get-togethers with micro- and SME clients from different sectors to learn their personal stories and motivations.
